If you choose to meet with a lawyer, you want to make sure you’re making the most out of your initial meeting.

Preparation is important. This will ensure that you get all of your issues out on the table and provide the lawyer with the information needed to advise you about your case. At MW Mortgages, we recommend writing down or bringing any information that you deem important or relevant, including key dates and court letters.

Buying your first home can be really exhilarating but also a daunting process! Our aim is to aid and guide you to give you support and make sure you’re feeling secure. At MW Mortgages, we want to ensure that you receive the best possible help with your first home ventures, whether that be you’ve signed the agreement or just starting to house hunt.

As your property process progresses, we will further advise you on the Agreement, Title, LIM Report and other property documents. We can assist you if you are withdrawing your Kiwisaver, too.

If you’re selling your property through a real estate agent, we do not often get involved until there are signed contracts and other documents in place. If you want us to read any documents before you sign, we are happy to do so.

You can buy a business through one of two ways, through the business owner themselves or through a business broker who acts on behalf of the business owner. It’s important to act with due diligence when looking to buy a business, as it can be a financially rewarding decision or it can end up costing you money.

Usually, lawyers would look over any legal documents and accounts from the business to verify it is all in order and to advise you to ensure you are making the best decision possible.

A home loan pre-approval gives buyers an idea of a potential price range so you can house hunt, or plan your new build with an approximate price in mind.

Banks have different policies and tolerances when it comes to getting a mortgage. We find our clients can get frustrated when they can’t find a bank that suits their needs.

Consulting with MW Mortgages will make this a seamless process, outlining different banks and policies for you. Ultimately, saving you time and money. With MW Mortgages, this process isn’t complicated.

Usually, banks offset your money from various accounts. Some of our clients have found it difficult to keep track of multiple accounts, to find how much interest they are charged with or if it is being offset. Contact us to see how we can help you manage this.
